Does it work with my theme?
Yes. The widget renders inside its own isolated container, so your theme’s CSS can’t break it and it can’t break your theme. It uses your storefront’s own cart, and “View product” opens your normal product page with the variant preselected.
What exactly is “exact shade linking”?
Most shop-the-look tools link to a product page. Dotshop lets you choose the variant, for example “Ruby Red” or “Size M”. The popup shows that variant’s image and price and adds that variant to the cart. You can also let the shopper choose with swatches inside the popup.
How do bundle discounts work?
You enter a percentage per look. Dotshop creates a coupon code in your BigCommerce store restricted to that look’s products and keeps it up to date. When a shopper presses “Add all to cart”, the code is applied automatically.
Where is my data stored, and what happens if I uninstall?
Everything is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). The widget sets no cookies and doesn’t track shoppers. When you uninstall, the storefront script is removed automatically and we delete your store’s data.
